Eusebio Cartez, 58 of Waco, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2020 at Antioch Community Church in Waco with Reverend Ernesto Serrato officiating. Burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
Mr. Cortez was born on March 31, 1962 to Abundio and Juana (Cazares) Cortes in Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Waco. He married the love of his life Juanita Leyva Martinez on April 20, 2020 in Maverick County, Texas. Mr. Cortez imported auto parts for Quality Parts Supply where he worked for 31 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, but most of all, being with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Abundio Cortez, brother, Felipe Cortez Cazares.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Cortez of Waco, sons, Erik Cortez of Waco, Jacob Cortez and wife, Cassia of Waco, daughter, Nancy Carreon and husband, Pablo of Waco, son, Abraham Cortez and wife, Jasmine of Waco, daughter, Paola Cortez of Waco, son, Jahaziel Cortez of Waco; Eleven grandchildren, brothers, Martimiano Cortez Cazares of Mexico, Ofelio Cortez Cazares of Mexico, sisters, Rebeca Cortez Cazares, Martha Cortez Cazares, Maria De Jesus Cortez Cazares, Venita Cortez Cazares, Manuela Cortez Cazares all of Mexico, sisters, Teresa Cortez Cazares of Houston, Francisca Cortez Cazares.
