Erminia Minnie Lou Lucia Salinas

Erminia “Minnie” Lou Loucia Salinas, age 56, passed way Saturday, July 08, 2017 in Waco, Texas. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 12th at 10:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 11th at Connally Compton.

Minnie was born January 7, 1961 to Domingo and Helen (Sanchez) Chavez in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and a member of the Church of Christ. She married her best friend, Milton Salinas on September 28, 1993 in Dallas. Minnie was a crafty person who enjoyed life and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Helen Chavez; sister, Delores Resendez.

Minnie leaves behind to cherish her memories, husband, Milton Salinas of Waco; daughters, April Salinas, Sonya Chavez, Helen Chavez, Lysandra Salinas all of Waco; sons, Milton Salinas, Jr. and Joshua Chisholm of Waco; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Chavez and wife, Mary of Waco, Thomas Chavez of Waco; sisters, Ernestine Sifuentes and husband, Frank of Waco, Mary Chavez of Waco and Betty Chavez of Waco; numerous nieces and nephews.
