Dear Jerry and family, 
I worked with Connie for many years at the City of Arvada. Connie always had a bright smile and a shining personality, which was a remarkable feat since she had a difficult job! Connie was always a fun person to talk to and to work with. And we all enjoyed “Connie Cake” every chance we had! Wishing you all peace and comfort at this most difficult time.

There are so many great things to say about Connie, she will be sincerely missed. She had such a lovely personality and was always in good spirits.  I'll never forget "the look" and how she always had a way to make you laugh.  I'm so thankful all of us here at Providence Hospice had a chance to meet and care for her.  It was such a blessing to be welcomed into your home and family.  Thank you so much for allowing our team to be there and care for you all.  We are sorry for your loss.  Please call if we can do anything for you all. 

Being loved by Connie changes lives. Her love for me had such an impact on my life; when she loved, she invited you into her life and family. We all grew to love her husband, kids and grands , and even her many friends. 

We are all better for having loved Connie and learned many things from her - grace, strength, courage to name a few.  Her positive energy was present all her life, but especially at the end. Even in her death, we are still learning from Connie. Her faithful testimony of her belief in Jesus and heaven reassures us all that we have a future with her in heaven. Her absence is already poignant; she leaves a huge hole in our hearts that we must fill with our many great memories of her, her voice and her laugh.

I know that there is a special place in Heaven for Connie.  She will be baking cakes for new arrivals with the biggest smile on her beautiful face.  She will make everyone feel welcome and show them that southern hospitality she naturally shared.  This is not goodbye, because I know we will see her later. Jerry and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Connie was a beautiful, sweet co-worker and friend.  She was such a pleasure to work with and I cherish all the good times. Connie was my second cousin. Her grandfather and mine were brothers. Although I did not meet Connie in person until this past spring when my husband Andy and I went to see her, I have felt close to her for twenty years because we emailed each other and exchanged stories of our shared Schnaufer family history.   It was an honor to spend time with her and Jerry.  I’m thankful for her friendship and for our family connection. 

Jerry, so sorry for your loss.  We have not seen Connie for a while but followed her journey on Facebook. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Hope to see you when you come to Colorado

I enjoyed working with Connie at the City of Arvada.  Connie was such a wonderful, sweet lady.  She also made beautiful, delicious cakes.  Connie's family and loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. 

Connie was one of my favorite people while working at the City of Arvada.  She always had a smile on her face and was so nice to work with.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Jerry and the rest of her family.  May she rest in peace.  She made a true difference in this world!

I worked with Connie for many years.  She was a dedicated employee and  a friend to everyone.  She was loved by all who knew her.  She will be sadly missed.   Rest in peace, Connie.


Connie was great to work with.  She was positive and honest, and always had a smile.   We are so sorry to hear of her passing. 

I remember Connie as a caring and loving person and City of Arvada employee. Connie would always go out of her way to help citizens and other employees. Connie also always had a positive disposition and a smile for everyone. I also remember the wonderful cakes she would design and make for birthdays and special occasions.  We are sorry for her passing, but are happy she is no longer in pain and is in a better place.
