(Chic) Aljuana Norcross

Chic was born on July 26, 1930 to Jim and Jane (Curtis) Self in Gilbert, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco, Texas and Homemaker. Chic was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. She married the love of her life, Marvin Norcross in 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas, he preceded her in death in 1980. She was an avid golfer, member of the Lake Waco Women’s Golf Association, Lake Air Little League for many years. She also started the Challenger League at Lake Air, Girls Softball League at Lake Air. Chic especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandson, Donnie Kyle Norcross.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marvin Norcross, one brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Debra Lynn Norcross of Waco, Texas, son, Douglas Martin Norcross and wife, Cindy of Hewitt, Texas, grandson, Donnie Kyle Norcross and wife, Elly of Hewitt, Texas, brother, Darwin Self of Fort Worth, Texas, niece, Michele and nephew, Mike Self.
