Billie Eugene Hendrickson

May 24, 2011. Funeral service will be on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Reggie Blake officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Fri. May 26, at Connally/ Compton Funeral Directors.

Billie was born on Aug. 15, 1934 in Mansfield, Illinois to Leonard and Bessie Hendrickson. He joined the Army after graduating from High School in 1953 where he served for 21 years; he served 3 tours in Vietnam. After retiring from the Army he began employment with the V.A. Regional office where he worked for 20 years. Billie was a devoted husband to the love of his Life Patsy and a wonderful father,

grandfather and friend. He was a member of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a longtime member of the Masons. Billie had a strong faith in his Lord who he served in any way he could. He was such a good example for all of his family and friends. Billie loved his Lord and Family and everyone he met, no man can live a better life than that.

He was preceded in death by his son, Billie; his parents, Leonard and Bessie, his sisters Erma and Joann; brothers, Lyle and Marty.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories is his loving wife, Patsy of Waco; sons, Ray Rochester and wife, Earline of West, Skip Hendrickson of Lake Whitney and Delbert Hendrickson of Denver, Colorado; daughter, Karen Hendrickson of Fort Worth; and grandson, Jered Rochester of West; twin brother, Phil Hendrickson of San Antonio; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ray Rochester, Skip Hendrickson, Jered Rochester, Steve White, Mike Nelson

and Al Aguilar and Honorary Pallbearer, Phil Hendrickson.
