Barbara Ann Cohn

Barbara Ann Cohn, 82, of Eddy, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with the Reverend David Story officiating. Interment will follow in Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, June 4th at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cohn was born on October 21, 1931 in Waco, Texas to C.V. and Annie Marie (Myers) Willings. She married Billy Joe Cohn on November 19, 1949 in Waco and they celebrated over 42 wonderful years together before his death on December 2, 1991. Mrs. Cohn loved quilting, cooking, reading and crossword puzzles but her true love was her family, especially her grandkids; whom she was very involved with. She worked at Piggy Wiggly for 15 years and as a cartographer with Bell County Tax Appraisal Office for 10 years. Mrs. Cohn was a member of Richfield Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister; Naomi Myers, great grandson; Jake Bowling and son-in-law; Leslie Holle.

Survivors include her daughters; Vickie Johnson and her husband, Bill of Burleson, Denise Roliard and her husband, Bruce of McGregor, Michelle Holle of Eddy and Dawn Claybaker and her husband, Ben of Marlin, sons; Danny Cohn and his wife, Christina of Hemet, CA and Jerry Cohn and his wife, Joanne of League City, sister; Marjorie Busch and her husband, Ted of Lacy Lakeview, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
