Alfred "Al" L. Moore

Al was born August 03, 1940 in Hugo Oklahoma to Lloyd Lee and Virginia Moore. He was 3rd of seven children. He married the love of his life Jane Walker on April 1, 1957. They began married life in Maywood, California. Al and his dad worked and owned LLoyd's Paint and Body Shop in California. Al and Jane had a daughter, Dawn Allison and then a son, Steven Todd. The family moved to Grand Prairie, TX in 1965 where they lived until 1992. At that time Al and Jane moved to their "retirement" home in Laguna Park on Lake Whitney.

Al worked at Allstate Insurance for many years. He started his own independent adjusting company in 1980 where he and Jane got to travel and work all over the United States. He also worked for a brief time at Graff Chevrolet in Grand Prairie

Al was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother in law Betty & Bill Keisler of Grand Prairie; brother Ronnie Moore of California. He is survived by his Loving Wife of 56 years Jane Moore of Laguna Park; daughter and son in law Dawn and Terry Arnold of Grand Prairie; son, Steve Moore of Peoria, AZ; Grand Children:Taylor Arnold, Grand Prairie; Megan Arnold Henderson and husband Drew Henderson of Grand Prairie; Tanner Arnold of Grand Prairie He is also survived by siblings- Patricia Carter of Georgia; Jerry Don Moore, Grand Prairie; and Debbie Willis and her husband Bill Willis of Prescott, AZ. Siblings in law - Sharon and Eddie Payne, Bill and Janet Walker, Carolyn Duke, and Julian Walker. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews he loved like his own as well as many, many good friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life on March 17, 2012 from 2-4. at The Summit 2975 Esplanade, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. All are invited to attend and share stories.
