GASTON - Stacie Dillard Pound, 49, of Gaston, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019. She was born in Huntsville, AL on August 20, 1969 to the late Edward and Wanda Dillard. Stacie was a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Psychology. She was a dedicated employee of Lexington Schools, District #2 at BC #1 and Riverbanks Elementary, for over 14 years. She married Jamie in 1994 in Gatlinburg, TN and they then built their life in Gaston, SC where they raised their children.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Surviving are her husband, James H. Pound, Jr; children, Caycey Marie Pound and Justin Randall Pound; sister, Gina Dillard; brother, Greg Dillard; father-in-law, James H. Pound, Sr. (Louise); niece, Jessica Tipton; nephews, Hunter Tipton, Josh Dillard and Grant Dillard. She was predeceased by her parents and mother-in-law, Marilyn Pound.
