Robert “Bob” John Watkins, age 78, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Friday, September 29th, 2023. He was born in Redondo Beach, California on March 17th, 1945 to the late William L. Watkins and Luella Franklin Watkins.
Bob worked as a superintendent in construction for M.B. Kahn Construction Company. He served in the Navy. He enjoyed sitting on the porch with his wife and beloved dog, Cisco. Drinking coffee, reminiscing his younger years, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Watkins; two daughters, Tonya Watkins of Asheville, NC and Michelle Simoneau (Bobby) of Pelion, SC; two grandsons, Matthew and Joshua Simoneau of Pelion, SC; brother, Larry Watkins of Nevada, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Bob at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel located at 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
