Robert Lewis Owens

Mr. Owens served in the US Army as a photographer in the Korean and Vietnam War and was a very proud veteran. He retired from Anchor Continental (Intertape Polymer) as an industrial mechanic. He was an avid Gamecocks fan and fisherman.

Mr. Owens is survived by his loving companion of 32 years, Lynn Ross; son, Robert Eric Owens; daughter, Rebecca Leigh Adams (Michael), stepsons, Jason B. Ross (Shelley) and Brock J. Ross (Tiffany); grandchildren, Andrew Price, Marya Steele, Robert Eric Owens, Jr., Kyra Ross, Paisley Adams, Kaiden Ross, Colton Ross, Keeley Adams; great grandchildren, Gunnar Steele, Elijah Steele, Journey Steele and Penelope Price, along with several siblings.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Rebecca Braswell Owens Burgess and his mother, Mary Ethel Owens.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
