Opal Elizabeth Julian, 57, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC. She was born in Brunswick, GA and was the daughter of the late William L. Julian and Bobbie Reid.
She is survived by her daughter, Mariah Pardee; grandson, Alexander Pardee; stepmother, Dorothy Julian; brothers, Kenneth Julian and William Julian, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews.
Opal was a kind soul with a deep love for her friends, family, God, Queso, the beach, and her South Carolina Gamecocks. To know Opal was to know warmth and light. She had a laugh and a zest for life that were absolutely contagious. This world will be a little less bright without her in it.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.
