Michael Paul Love

Michael attended Heathwood Hall Episcopal School, where he played on the golf team and junior varsity football. He graduated from Spring Valley High School in 2003. He attended Mississippi State University on an academic scholarship and studied software engineering. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

As a Microsoft Certified Professional, Michael worked as an independent IT consultant most of his career. He enjoyed golf, music, reading and sports, especially USC and Mississippi State football. His remarkable talent and passion was working with computers and other electronics. Michael was warm hearted, caring, and loved animals, as he did his family and many close friends.

Michael is survived by his father, Phillip (Allison) Love; brother, Brian Patrick (Amy Messersmith) Love; nephew, Joshua Phillip Love, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. A compassionate son, brother, family member and friend, he will truly be missed.

A private graveside memorial service was held at Southland Memorial Gardens, West Columbia, on May 31, 2017, with the Very Reverend Timothy Jones officiating. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, handled the arrangements.
