Kirby R. Kirkley

Kirby is survived by his wife, Carolyn Maurice Kirkley; son, Donald R. Kirkley, daughter, Michele Riley (husband Ryan); three grandsons, Anthony Riley (wife Everlena), Austin Riley, Alex Riley; one great granddaughter and soon to be another great granddaughter.

Kirby is also survived by his sister, Helen Bryant; brother, Bob Kirkley; wife, Diane and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother and father; brother, Darrell Kirkley (wife Carolyn); brother-in-law, Ralph Bryant and sister, Peggy Horton (husband Garland).

Kirby retired from Anchor Continental after 30 plus years. He was a big Carolina fan and loved watching them play. Kirby and Maurice were married on July 26, 1958 and happily together for 64 years.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene with interment to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens. He will lie in state from 9:00 - 9:40 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.
