Kenneth N Whigham

Kenneth (Kenny) Neil Whigham, 62, of West Columbia, SC went home to be with His Lord and Savior on August 30th, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. Kenny was born at Cannon Air Force Base near Clovis, New Mexico to George R Whigham, Jr. and the late Evelyn I. Whigham.

In his earlier years, Kenny enjoyed golfing with his dad and singing with his mom. From various jobs in sales, to being the caregiver to his parents and wife, Kenny loved people and never met a stranger. Kenny loved his church family at Trinity Baptist and enjoyed working in the kitchen and preparing meals, as well as being a part of the church choir.

Kenny is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn I. Whigham. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Lucinda (Cindy) Geouge-Whigham of Fort Mill, SC; his caring father, George R. Whigham Jr. of West Columbia, SC; his two sisters, Darlene Derrick of West Columbia, SC and Nancy (Ken) McCall of Greenville, SC; two daughters, Kellie Huffman of West Columbia, SC and Kendra Gray of Greenville, SC and their families; stepson, Brad Millard of SC and stepdaughter, Angel Lopez of Florida and their families; one nephew, two nieces, and a host of loved ones and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Kenny at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at Trinity Baptist Church located at 2003 Charleston Hwy, Cayce, SC 29033. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
