Bob served in Vietnam from August 1967- August 1968 as a member of Company H 75th Infantry Airborne Rangers, with which he received numerous metals and awards including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Metal, Republican of Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Unit Citation Badge and Valorous Unit Award. He served as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Jackson, SC.
Bob served as a deacon at Convent Baptist Church, Leesville, SC. He was a generous man who supported the Harvest Hope food bank with large donations of monetary funds.
Bob was a loving father of five children: Michael Thomas Fisher, Robert William Storey, John Nathan Storey, Jacob Seth Storey and Robin D. Storey-Sader (deceased).
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
