Tammy Elaine Counts
WEST COLUMBIA - It is with great sadness that the family of James “Noah” Russell Counts, 67, and Tammy Elaine Counts, 48, announce their passing as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Monday, May 14, 2018. They are both survived by their daughter, Megan, her husband, Tim Jackson, their son, Norman Compton, and a granddaughter, Braelin Jackson.
Noah is preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Counts and survived by his brother, Robert Counts of West Virginia, brother Thomas Counts of Columbia, South Carolina, sister, Pamela Lovejoy of Charleston, West Virginia, sister, Teresa Williams of Fairmont, West Virginia, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Tammy is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Carter, brother, Christopher Carter, and sister, Angela Selena Carter. She is survived by her father, Stanley Carter, brother, Dwight Carter and wife, Theresa Carter, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Noah was born December 3rd, 1950 and was a strong-willed, knowledgeable, and respected man who also had a kind and artistic spirit. He enjoyed creating art for his friends and family, riding the countryside, and socializing. Noah was an esteemed member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, and will be greatly missed by many people.
Tammy was born October 13th, 1969 and was a compassionate, lively and adventurous woman whose exuberant attitude brightened the lives of everyone around her. She would often spend her downtime reading, enjoying nature, and spending time with family and friends. Tammy had a beautiful soul and will be dearly remembered by everyone that knew her.
Both Noah and Tammy were avid members of the motorcycle community, and were often seen laughing and celebrating life. They were dedicated to each other and shared a love that brought out only the best in one another.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Caughman- Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, located at 820 W Dunbar Rd., West Columbia, SC 29170.
