Survivors include his loving wife, Rosemarie McKnight; son, Bart T. McKnight (Linda); daughters, Andrea I. Sharpe, Heike L. Hershey (Stephen); grandchildren, Haley McKnight, Katie McKnight, Landis Wilson, Nicole Owens and great-grandchildren, Karrington and Memphis Owens.
Mr. McKnight graduated from Carlisle Military School. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Partners of America and a longtime member of the Ed Mack Compressor Company that was originally founded by his father. He volunteered with Lexington Medical Center and was an avid Gamecock fan.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
