Claudia is survived by her daughter, Deborah Hagerdorn of West Columbia; grandson, John Paul Mackey; granddaughter, Leigh Michelle Smith; sister, Eula Hightower (Pat) of West Columbia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronnie Stout; son, Timothy Stout; sisters, Verna Schumpert, June Baylor, and Harriett Thomas, and brother, Ponce Owens.
A visitation for Claudia will be held Monday, September 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. A burial will occur Monday, September 18, 2023 at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170.
