Jean is survived by her children, Shelby Keziah (Joel), Daniel Musselwhite, Charlene Bailey (Jeff); grandchildren, Lora Keziah (Terry), Crystal Helms, Hunter Bailey and Carleigh Cross (Bray); great grandchildren, Erica Jackson, Jaydon Jackson and Taylor Jenness; great great grandchildren, London, Isabella, Kingston, Christian and Emma; sister, Debbie Haigler (Danny); stepdaughters, Diane (Bill), Belinda, Sandy, and many other extended family members.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jesse and Bessie Nash Hargett; her loving husband of 49 years and father of their four children, Simon Musselwhite; daughter, Brenda Helms; husband of 15 years, Jack Howard; grandson, Dillon Helms and ten siblings.
Jean lived a full life, spending many of her younger days working as a seamstress, working alongside her husband running a marina in Harkers Island, NC and being a homemaker for many years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Pentecostal Church.
Jean had so much love and compassion to share with all and was forever telling each of her family members that she loved them more than anything in the whole wide world!
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
