CAYCE –Annette Means Weaver, 76, of Cayce, went to join her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.
Ms. Weaver was born April 17, 1937 in Toccoa, GA. She was the daughter of the late Paul Means and Edna Hadden Means.
Annette was a graduate of Thomson High School, Midlands Technical College and the University of South Carolina. Annette retired from The South Carolina Technical College system as a Computer Programmer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Columbia. She enjoyed being a member of the Musical Ministries the Jubilant Singers and was active in support of a number of charitable organizations.
She is survived by her loving sons, David Weaver (Angie) and Gary Weaver (Kelly); grandchildren, Amy, Brent, Kendall and Kylee; sister, Helen Geiger and brother, Bill Means (Sonja). She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline. In lieu of flowers a donations may be made to one of her many charities, The Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd suite 300, Jacksonville, Fl. 32256.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2014 at Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.
