Thad Lee Young Sr.

Chief Thad L. Young Sr. was 80 years young & had a good life; he served in the Navy for over 21 years and had 3 tours in the Vietnam War. He was married to Sandra Hughes Young for 60+ years, we had two son’s Thad Lee Young Jr. & Joseph Jay Young, daughter-in-law Tanya Lynn Young. Granddaughter Kara Lynn Young and great granddaughter Stevie Lynn Young.

He has a home in Utah and visited California often to see his son’s and family. He is also survived by a sister Josie B. Young Clark, numerous nephews and nieces, 4 brothers-in-law, 3 proceeded his death. Eugene, Jimmie & Dwight Hughes one living Chester and his wife Patty Hughes.

He was a “Aviation Electrician” everyone who knew him while in the Navy called him “Chief Young”.

His mother Verbal and father John H. Young preceded his in death. We loved him with all Our Hearts and will never stop loving him. He was the best husband and father always caring and trying to help in anyway needed, the same as he treated his friends.

He is at home now with “Jesus” Thank you Lord for giving him to us.
