Robert was born on October 19th 1933, in Comanche, Texas, to Robert and Mary Loudermilk. Robert graduated from Kearny High School in 1951, and later earned an associates degree from San Diego Community College.
Robert enlisted in the U.S. Marines Corps and served his Country. After his military career, Robert went to work for Hoffman Electronics, working his way up to Director of Materials. Robert also worked, as a Director of Sales, for Textron Inc. Robert finished is career working for the County of Visalia by serving on the Grand Jury and serving 10 years, as a social worker, for the department of welfare.
Some of his many interest were working on his 1966 Ford Mustang, managing his Bridge club for over 20 years, bowling with his grandson, and most of all spending time with his wife and raising his two grandchildren.
He will be best remembered for his love of family, positive, nimble-witted and jocose personality.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Editha Loudermilk; Grandson, Michael Mori; Granddaughter, Calee Gunther; Daughter, Sherri Dunn; Grandson, Jeremy Robert Landis and Great grandson, Tanner Douglas Landis.
A viewing will be held at Millers Memorial Chapel, in Visalia on Thursday, March 31st at 4pm, followed by a rosary service at 6pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Visalia on Friday, April 1st, 2016 at 10:30am with a luncheon reception to follow at the Parish Hall.
