Pete J. Ramirez peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on the 4th of May 2022 at the age of 64 in Visalia, California. He was born in Woodlake, California to Pete and Gloria (Lovato) Ramirez. Pete grew up loving sports, especially baseball. Pete was fiercely passionate about athletics from the start and dedicated his life to his pursuit of baseball, running, and his family.
After he graduated, Woodlake High School, he attended College of the Sequoias graduating with his Associates Degree. In 1986, he landed a job with Dave’s Heating and Air where he stayed the rest of his life working in metal fabrication, which was one of his passions. In 1985, he had his first child Candice followed by Matthew (1988), and Samantha (1991). Pete always put family first; his children will cherish all the memories from the family trips. Pete was very dedicated to his children and was at all of their school and sporting events.
Pete was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family. On top of coaching his children, he also mentored many youth in the community both at work and through his passion for coaching. Pete was also a passionate runner, cycling enthusiast, and enjoyed a good hike with his dog Tazz. He spent most of his weekends later in life at either a race, training event, or out with Tazz. If not out on an adventure, Pete and Tazz could be found enjoying a nice meal at his mother Gloria’s in Woodlake.
