Nicolasa Lopez Castillo

Nicolasa Lopez was born on May 5, 1935 in Brawley, California. She had six siblings, Frank, John, Paula, Laura, Mercy and Amelia. In her youth, she was raised and attended school in Orosi, California.

In 1951, she married Joseph Angel Castillo. They had 10 children and settled in Dinuba, California. Later in years, they moved to southern California.

Nicolasa loved being active in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to garden, take walks and when she could, travel.

During her life she found great pleasure in her faith. She was willing to teach others about her God, Jehovah. Nicolasa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother, great-great grandmother and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Castillo; her son Joseph Angel Castillo, Jr. and her grandson, Jeremy Rios.

Nicolasa is survived by her brother, John; her children, Victoria Acuna, Christina Serna, Mary Murphy, Gabriel Castillo, Debra Castillo, Margaret Castillo, Yolanda Frejo and Mario Castillo, 31 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
