Melissa Dianna Castro

Melissa was born, raised and educated in Visalia. She attended and graduated form College of Sequoias with a Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science degrees. Melissa worked as a Special Education Teacher for many years in the Visalia area. She was of Catholic faith and attended Holy Family Catholic Church of Visalia

She enjoyed listening to music, traveling to the beach and especially times spent with her children, grandchildren and family. You always knew where Melissa stood on everything---you knew not to push her. She was always helping those in need and gave freely of herself. Melissa will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Melissa leaves to cherish her three loving children, Frank Bravo and wife Jessica, Jessica Bravo and husband Krei, and Salvador Castro, all of Visalia; brothers Salvador Castro Jr., and Andrew Castro, both of Visalia; sisters, Serena Castro, Angelic Castro and Felicia Castro, all of Visalia and her five very special grandchildren, Frank, Mia, Anthony, Mariah and Vincent who brought her much joy in her life.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 3 - 6 with Rosary following at 6 pm at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be hel at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 N. Court Street in Visalia. Burial will follow at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA.
