Mary married James R. Campbell on October 9, 1957 in Delano, CA and after her divorce; she married Junior L. Yarnell on March 9, 1967. Mary worked as a waitress for a few and also worked for Royal Neighbors of America for 13 years until her retirement. Mary volunteered at the Visalia Senior Center.
She was a longtime member of the Odd Fellows & Rebakahs #94 in Visalia.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (George) Alvarez of Clovis, CA; stepdaughter, Joann Stevens of Salem, OR; brother, Henry Mitchel of Fresno, CA; sister, Mabel Gonzalez of Visalia, CA; two granddaughters, Adrienne Humann and Amanda Monteiro, and six great grandchildren.
Her parents, Arthur and Francis Mitchell, six sisters, and three brothers precede Mary in death.
Serving as pallbearers are Sonny Mitchell, Harry Mitchell, Don Mitchell, Jess Alvarez, Juvenal Gonsalve and Javier Aguilar.
A visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4-6pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 10:30am follow with Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery District.
