Margaret (Peggy) Luanne Black has gone to be with Jesus. She left us on April 9th from Visalia, CA. She was born on August 15, 1945 in Las Vegas, NV to George Carroll and Margaret Anne Ray of Arkansas.
Peggy met and married Charles Paul Black in 1961. She graduated from Redwood High School in 1965, and later graduated from COS as a licensed Psychiatric Technician. She was a loving wife and mother, raising her three children, and even worked in the fields on occasion with her husband.
She was an artist at heart, drawing and painting anything from knick knacks to portraits. She was a member of Parkside Chapel, and was very active as she was able. She devoted most of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Ray; and granddaughter, Heather Black.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Charles P. Black; one sister, Glenda A. Ray; one daughter, Luanne Black; two sons, Randell and Brian Black, nine grandchildren, Kari Ann, Paul, Paula, Esther, Matthew, Emily, Austin, Nathan and Brianna; one great grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation for Peggy will be Thursday, the 28th at Miller Memorial Chapel from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Celebration of her Life will be held Friday, the 29th at 1:00 pm in the Miller Memorial Chapel, followed by a Graveside, then a reception back at Miller Memorial.
