Manuel D. Morales, one of seventeen children was born on November 7, 1933, to Ramon and Natividad Morales in Visalia, California. He graduated Visalia Union high school and served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War as a bombardier he was very proud of and becoming one of the very last members of his squadron to represent his fellow Airman. His early job was working at Sequoia Home where he met and would marry the love of his life Lula Mae Morales in 1960 as well as celebrating their 60th anniversary prior to her passing in 2021. Manuel would eventually become General Manager of Specialty Beverages. Manuel was known for having a strong will, determination, and a great sense of humor, but also generous, loyal, and brave. He was also passionate about his Catholic faith, Family, fishing, water skiing, and martial arts, practicing Shotokan Karate and achieving his third-degree black belt.
He is survived by his four children Daughter Arlene Mlack, Son Tim Morales, Daughter Cheryl Penn/beloved husband Kyle, Son David and loving daughter in law Ana Morales and proud of his Grandchildren (8) Miles, Destiny, Cheyenne, Taylor, Trinidad, David Jr, Adriana, Alyssa, Great grandchildren (5) Easton, Thielen, Beckett, Clayton, and Baby Sears
Even at the end Manuel found a way to smile and laugh. One of the hardest things that has ever been required of us was the day that we had to let go as the angels carried you up to Heaven to join the love of his life, our mother Mae Morales.
Dad will be healthy again, strong, young, and amazing. The Earthly weight of this World will be gone and he will be spiritually alive for the very first time. There is a God and a glorious Heaven we will all be together again ~Dad/Papa Manuel will be with us everyday.
We love you Dad!
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared here for the Morales Family.
