Linda Marlene Miller Hearn

Linda (Miller) Hearn passed away January 5, 2018. She was born November 16, 1940 in Visalia to Ethel and Fairance Miller. Linda was a graduate of Redwood High School in 1958 and College of Sequoias in 1960. Her life was filled with music as she accompanied singers and other musicians. Linda loved playing piano for stage musicals, working through rehearsals and in the pit for performances.

Linda married her sailor, George Henry Hearn in 1965 and traveled with him to duty stations around the country and even to Japan. Her son was born in Pensacola, FL and her daughter in Adak, AK in the Aleutian Islands. Linda faithfully served her county as a Navy Wife until 1978 when she and her George retired in Hawaii.

Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, George, and her son and daughter, James and Holly. She is survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 Goshen Avenue in Visalia on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 3 – 7 p.m. Services will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
