Kenny started his career as a licensed Ag Pest Control Advisor at Sequoia Feed & Farm Supply. He excelled in his profession for many years. The weekend were very special: Barbequing was his specialty! We can still taste the chicken today, (especially after Grandma Tolbert went out to take care of those chickens).
He took pride in and enjoyed his garden immensely. Some say he had a green thumb. He loved to share his vegetable with family and friends. Above all else, he was an avid outdoorsman; hunting, fishing, golf and an "occasional" game of cards. He also enjoyed bible study, and playing Bible Trivia. He loved them all, and he loved his family. We will miss him greatly.
Kenneth is survived by his son Mark (Pam) A. Tolbert; and his son Corey (Shelley) Ellis Tolbert; his sister Judy Donahue; his special longtime friend & companion Patty McRae.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Roy Ellis Tolbert; his mother Doris Etta Pennington; son Darren M. Tolbert and his son Larry Wayne Tolbert
Kenneth also leaves 4 grandchildren (Ashley, Gavin, Josh and Jared) and 6 great grandchildren who will forever cherish his memory.
Thank you all who visited and helped care for Kenny in his last month. A very special thank you t o Joshua Bergdoll for the time & care he provided for our Dad.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1120 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Visalia Cemetery, 1300 West Goshen Avenue, Visalia, CA 93291.
Serving as pallbearers are Mark A. Tolbert, Corey Ellis Tolbert, Gavin Tolbert, Jared Tolbert, Scott Wilson and Jim Kelch.
