Karen Marie Holland

Karen was born in Merced, CA on November 15, 1947 to Charles and Mary Andonian. Karen was raised there and graduated from Merced High School in June 1965. Afterwards she studied at Merced College and earned an A.A. degree.

Karen married the love of her life Thomas Holland June 22, 1968. Karen worked for the Merced City School District at Chenoweth Elementary School for 23 years, retiring June 2006. Karen and Thomas were married for 45 years when Thomas passed away September 27, 2013.

In February 2013 Karen and Thomas moved to Visalia, CA to be near their newborn twin grandchildren.

Karen leaves behind sons Brian and Eric Holland, sisters Katharine and Janice Andonian, and brother Richard Andonian. She also leaves behind daughter in law Melinda Holland and sister in law Laura Andonian.

Karen leaves behind nieces Jennifer Langdon, Sarah Haston, and Amanda Andonian and nephews Justin Cavender and Michael and David Andonian. She also leaves nephews in law Brett Langdon and Scott Haston, great niece Maryam Langdon, great niece Charlie Mae Haston, great nephew Jax Langdon, and great niece Addison Haston. Finally, Karen leaves behind grandchildren Rebecca and Christopher Holland.

Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA on Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm with Rosary at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 N Court Street, Visalia, CA on Monday February 24, 2020 at 10:00 am followed by Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the American Heart Association are appreciated.
