I am so sorry to hear of John's passing.  I just loved caring for him and Ann at Quail Park.  I am thinking of you, Ann, and your family.

Hello - Sister Betty Panero called and told us of John's passing.  Last time I saw John and Ann was at Bert's funeral.  He was always friendly and nice. We have been out of touch for many years, but wanted to send my condolences to the family.  John and I were first cousins on the Villard side.  My mother was Mary Villard Meehan and my father, Dr. Thomas Meehan.  They lived in Delano. I live with my husband, Edward, in Lafayette. 
I did get to know Doug and Debbie Bennett in the 1980's, when my daughter, Andrea, attended U.O.P.
I believe, I talked to Greg one time, as I had heard that he had done some family genealogy, which I am interested in 
learning more about.  Sister Betty told me she was interested, also.

We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your dad, John, he was a very kind person, and we we know that he will be missed by Ann, Greg, Chris and Jan, and the six grandchildren.

Aunt Ann and Family,

Uncle Johnny's laugh and sense of humor will truly be missed. My girls talk about how much fun they had with him in Cayucos playing pool and stealing Aunt Ann's cookies. He was an amazing man who inspired us to live life to its fullest and to keep our families close and well loved.

John was a true gentleman.  I know of no one that could work harder and yet still enjoy and seem to cherish every day.  I have nothing but wonderful memories of him.  He had the best laugh.
