Isabel was born in Michoacan, Mexico on Thursday, April 20, 1944 to Emilio and Concepcion Rivera. At the age of 31, Isabel came to the United States, settling in Alhambra, CA. She married the love of her life, Cecil Cuellar, Jr. in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 7, 1980.
Isabel enjoyed being a homemaker, lovingly caring her home and her husband, seven children and their families. She loved cooking for family and friends, sharing many of her favorite foods. Isabel especially enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful plants and flowers. She also made many knitted and crocheted items for her home. Isabel greatly enjoyed times spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Isabel is survived by her loving husband, Cecil; two sons - Casiano Baldovinos and Faustino Baldovinos; five daughters - Yolanda Baldovinos, Lourdes Romero, Angelina Luna, Alma Godinez and Araceli Baldovinos; six siblings – Geronimo Rivera, Petra R. Lugo, Nitcha Rivera, Rogelio Rivera, Mary Rivera and Maria Rivera; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2 – 6 p.m. with Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 9 a.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel of Visalia. Interment will follow immediately at Visalia Public Cemetery, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia, CA.
