Georgia Ann Rodriguez was born March 31st 1936 to Willie and Mozell Morrow in Maysville, Oklahoma. Shortly after that the family moved to California. After high school she went into nursing where she was introduced to Joe Rodriguez her husband of 43 years. Together they raised three sons and one daughter. She was actively involved with her children's lives until they had finished the elementary years when she started her career until she retired from Visalia Unified School District. At that time Georgia and Joe began traveling and enjoying the grandchildren as they started coming.
Georgia is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Louis Rodriguez, mother and father Willie and Mozell Morrow and brother Phillip Morrow. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Johnston and her spouse Tim of Westlake Village, and her three sons, Rod Rodriguez and his spouse Ketta, of Stevenson Ranch, Duane Rodriguez and his spouse Shawn of Visalia, and Ron Rodriguez of Visalia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren Kassia, Christopher and spouse Rita, Taylor, Alexa, Connor, Alec and Arden, two Great Grandchildren , Christopher Joseph (CJ) and Cora Mia Rodriguez. Surviving siblings are Robert Morrow and spouse Joan of San Jose, Claude Morrow and spouse Pam of Hibbing MN., two sisters Dixie Reese and spouse Brad Sr., of Bakersfield and Pam McDugal and spouse Kenny of Bakersfield . She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, friends especially her best friend Mona who cared for her the last years of her life; as well as her special little guy, her pet Solomon. She will be missed as she was a caring big hearted Mother, Grandmother and Friend.
A celebration of life will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
