Ferol Lee Negrete, 75, of Visalia passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 25, 2011 following a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her brother

the late Don Minter of Santa Monica California. She is survived by her husband Peter Negrete, her son Clayton and Kathy Negrete of Exeter and daughter Liz and Steve Grossman of Livermore California. She was the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Ferol worked for the Visalia Unified School district as a teachers aid for over 39 years and continued to substitute teach and volunteer for various elementary schools in the Visalia area late into her illness. Ferol shared her love for kids through her work at Elbow Creek and various other schools. She touched the lives of many kids in a positive way. Ferol was a dedicated Avon representative for over 40 years until her illness prevented her to continue.
