Mr. Fernandez, otherwise known as Piporro to his friends and family, was born March, 11, 1931, in Tulare, California, to Pablo Fernandez, and Victoria Mendes.
He was a hard working family man, who had a passion for wood working and construction.
He enjoyed music and dancing, as well as entertaining his friends and family with his comical charm. . He was a great friend, son, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He touched so many lives, and was a friend to all.
He was preceded in death by his wife Lidia Fernandez, step daughters Florentina Mendoza, Eustolia Hernandez, and grandson Gene Fernandez Jr.
He is survived by his step children Anna Saldana, Maria Lopez, Serapio Parraz, Willie Vasquez, and his natural children Javier, Higinio (Gene), and Victoria Fernandez, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He lived a very satisfying and prosperous life, and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services are through Millers Memorial Chapel, a Grave side service will be on Friday, December 11, 2020, at 10:30 AM, at the Visalia Cemetery.
