Debbie was born on November 3, 1950, in Van Nuys, CA, to Lewis (Jim) and Gloria Jameson. She moved to the Central Valley, where she met and fell, hard and fast, for Ron and his two sons. They wed three months later, on February 17, 1973. Together they raised four sons and three daughters in Tulare. Debbie had a passion for dance that began at a young age and carried throughout her life. She taught and danced at multiple studios in Tulare and Visalia, while raising her family. Dance carried through to performing tap later in life at COS, and learning then teaching line dancing at the local senior centers. Debbie was known for her amazing cooking and baking abilities, passing that love to her kids and grandkids. After they retired, she moved with Ron to Visalia, and they began their adventures in travel, visiting Alaska, Hawaii, Belize, the Virgin Islands, New England, and many other places, oftentimes bringing along family. While she had many hobbies, her true joy in life was her family.
Debbie will be lovingly remembered by her stepson, Scott Bixler (Michaela), sons, Mike Bixler (Annette) and Rick Bixler (Jennifer), daughters, Rebecca Bustos (Anthony), Nicole Swanson (Shane), and Kristine Borba (Joseph), her 20 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and sisters, Pam Freeman, Cindy Wilson, and Pattie Gaut. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Bixler, step-son, Mark Bixler, 2 great-grandchildren, sister, Terry Laney, and brother, David Jameson.
