David Lawrence Witt

Age 74 went to the Lord on Friday, Feb. 9th, 2018 in Visalia, CA of natural causes. He was born in Kansas October 12, 1942 to Willis and Helen Witt, making him their third child. While attending high school David met his sweet heart Beverly and was married on June 21, 1963, until her death in 2013. After leaving Kansas they moved to San Jose, Ca where they had two sons. David worked for corporate Chevron as an accountant in Oakland, until years later he moved to Visalia and worked for J.A. Fischer Chevron Distributor until his retirement. In his spare time David enjoy wood working, gardening, long walks, breeding and raising quails. He also loved to watch thunderstorms from his front porch with his family. He mentored his sons and was a Boy Scouts Troop Leader. David was a loving husband, wonderful father and an amazing grandfather. Everyone who knew David knew he was a happy kind personal man, who was always there to help anyone and everyone.

He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. David is preceded in death by his wife Beverly and his parents, Willis and Helen. David’s memory will be cherished by his sons, Edward Witt and David Witt, grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Kymber, Miranda, Kasey, Samantha, three great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 3-7p.m. Graveside Service at Visalia Public Cemetery District 1300 W.
