Dan joined the Air Force directly after high school and retired with twenty years service from 1954 to 1974. He obtained the rank of Master Sargeant early in his career and retired in 1974. He flew in many missions during the Vietnam War and saw many other countries all over the world. After retirement, he worked as an auto mechanic, built houses, and also was a beekeeper for ten years. He was good at any job he worked. My husband and I enjoyed 14 years of a loving and wonderful marriage together. We traveled, square danced, and enjoyed our life and families together.
