Lenora married the love of her life Ralph L. Riddle on January 4, 1941 in Stewart, OK. Soon thereafter the couple moved to the Visalia area and in 1954 to Tulare, where Lenora worked for the Food Service Department of the Tulare District Hospital. She later served as Cafeteria Manger for Tulare Union High School District. She was a member of the Tulare County School Food Service Association and served a term as their president. Lenora was an active member of the Palate Club of Tulare and enjoyed oil painting still-life and landscapes. A tribute to her talent is displayed at the State Capitol in Sacramento and in many homes and businesses in the area. She also enjoyed attending church, traveling and family gatherings.
Lenora received her high school diploma from the Tulare Adult School and completed food service courses at COS and Fresno State University.
Lenora was preceded in death by her husband Ralph; daughter, Leanna Gail and husband Carl Dotson; one sister and five brothers. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter Laurna Quinn and husband Glen of Visalia: sisters Lavina Chaffin and Loretta Palmer of Fresno; a brother Floyd and wife Linda of Madera.
Visitation will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvery Worship Center, 3890 S Lovers Ln, Visalia, CA 93292 on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
Graveside Service at Visalia Public Cemetery District, 1300 W. Goshen Ave., Visalia on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
