Cathy was a lifetime resident of Visalia and Tulare. She graduated from the 8th grade at Liberty Elementary, and also graduated from the College of the Sequoias with a nursing degree. She worked at Kaweah Delta Hospital for over 30 years. She was well liked and respected by her peers.
Cathy is survived by her mother Ava Baxley of Tulare, sister and brother in law Barbara and Keith Dawes of Waukena, two nieces Christy Dawes – Hansen of Waukena, Amy Burcham of St. George, Utah, two nephews Tim Dawes of Tea, South Dakota and Brandon Dawes of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her father William Baxley.
A Memorial service will be held at Miller Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1:00pm.
