Bill Miller, born August 5, 1942, went to be with the Lord peacefully on April 6, 2025, at the age of 82. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, service, and entrepreneurial spirit that touched countless lives.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Tanya; his sons Josh and Sam; his daughter Hannah; his beloved grandson Reece, granddaughter Lauren, great-grandchildren Ella, Cash, Jayden, Mark and Cadence, and his brother Ronnie. He is preceded in death by his daughter Ronnell, his parents Ferne and Carl, and his brother Duane.
Bill was born and raised in Tulare, CA and attended Tulare Union High School. After graduating high school, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy, with multiple deployments in Alaska and the South Pacific. Following his service, he dedicated his life to building a successful career as a real estate developer, builder, and broker. He was also a pioneer in the early days of the self storage industry, where he built and led a thriving self storage company. During his career he successfully built homes for thousands of people, developed large parts of Visalia, completed numerous projects on the central coast and built a successful real estate portfolio. His professional legacy will be remembered and carried on by his family.
Above all, Bill will be remembered as a man of deep and unwavering faith. He lived his life in service to Jesus Christ and reflected that faith through his integrity, kindness, and generosity.
A memorial service will be held on April 17th at 10:30 a.m. at Miller's Memorial Chapel, 1120 W Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291, with a reception to follow at Bello Vita, 4211 W Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Visalia Rescue Mission, Visalia Emergency Aid, or Food Link—organizations close to Bill’s heart and reflective of his lifelong commitment to helping others.
Bill Miller’s life was a testament to faith, family, hard work, and service. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
