Beverly Jean Brown

Beverly was born on August 21, 1930 to Clarence and Mattie Bly. She was raised and educated in Ivanhoe/Visalia, attending Visalia High School and graduating with the Class of 1949. Beverly then attended College of Sequoia and the Dental School in Fresno, California. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of Gateway Church of Visalia and enjoyed being involved in the church activities. Her hobbies included traveling, crafts, flower arranging and she kept a very beautiful yard. Beverly spent many hours keeping in touch with her classmates and was instrumental in planning her high school class reunions.

She is survived by her sons, Patrick Brown and Michael Brown (Diane); two grandchildren Diane Coffee and Donnie Barrie; Kim Andrews, friend and caregiver; Irine Bly, cousin and close friend..

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mattie; husband, Donald Brownand her daughter, Dawn Ellen Barrie.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Gateway Church, 1100 S. Sowell in Visalia, California.
