Barbara Ann Barnes

Barbara Ann (Dial) Barnes Lopez, 74, of Goshen, passed away on February 12, 2023, at home. She was born on December 18, 1948 in Meridian, Miss as the only child of Henderson Dial and Geneva Emily (Powell) Dial. She was a loving dog owner, mother and grandmother. She was very outgoing and loved talking to people, caring for her dogs (Osso and Ted), raising chickens, feeding ducks in the park, arts & crafts, baking, supporting her community, the latest movies and being with family.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tanya DeLisa (Barnes) Jasso of North Liberty, IA and Sonya (Barnes) McMurry of Tiffin, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Paul Anthony Fernandez, Guy Jasso, Alexander Gamboa, Lucinda Jasso, Ruben Jasso, Patrick Riley McMurry, Liam McMurry, and Sydney McMurry; and numerous great grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
