Tony was born in Visalia, California on September 3, 1968 to Gregorio Moreno and Maria Teresa Moreno. He graduated from Sequoia High School and went to school in Arizona at University Technology Institute, becoming a certified HVAC Technician. He was one of 22 students to become Lennox certified as a Technician for North America.
On March 17, 1996, Tony married Vesta Jean Rood in Portland, Oregon. Tony and Vesta raised a family of pups that became their children. Tony enjoyed camping and riding ATV's. He loved music, playing guitar, and enjoyed cooking and eating a good meal with family and friends. Many of his friends knew him as "T-Man". He will be remembered as "the man, the myth, the legend." Tony had a heart of gold and was a compassionate gentle soul. He always had a smile on his face. Although the last several years were difficult for him due to declining health, each time you would ask him how he was doing, he would say "It's just another day in paradise."
As the youngest of five children, he was the baby of the family. He is survived by his wife, Vesta; his father Greg Moreno; sisters Barbara Owens and husband Mike, and Melissa Moreno; and brothers, Carlos and Greg. He was also the uncle to Gregory, Miguel, Ben, Nate, Isabella, Alesia, Shyanna, and Evan and great nephews, Gabriel and Noah; his father-in-law, Larry Rood and his sister-in-law, Trisha.
