Anthony was born in Dinuba, California on December 20, 1955 to Stanley and Juanita Marquez. He graduated from Porterville College with his Associates Degree. He entered the United States Army in 1978, serving as an Audio/TV Specialist for six years. Following his discharge he married the love of his life, Angela Cora Delgado at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Porterville on May 31, 1980.
Anthony loved to cook, travel and listen to Oldies Music. He was a member of the Cutler Latin American Club. He was an avid Los Angeles Ram fan.
Anthony had a huge heart and enjoyed helping others. He was very family oriented and especially loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. They meant the world to him.
Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Angela Marquez; his two children Anthony Marquez, Jr. and Melissa Marquez. Anthony and Angela brought four nieces and nephews into their home, Ernesto L. Delgado, Paul M. Delgado, Robert J. Delgado and Christina R. Delgado and raised them as their own. He is also survived by his siblings, Victor Marquez, Marcus Marquez, Rodney Marcus, Joanne Vega and Christina Sartuche and twelve grandchildren, Nevaeh, Mathias, Valerie, Matthew, Meliaina, Irene, Manuel, Anthony III, Reymundo, Autumn, Adam and Angela.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Adrian Marquez and Michael Marquez.
Anthony will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
