Angie Segura Solorio born and raised in Visalia CA on 8/2/36 and was called home on 1/15/18. She attended Elbow Creek and Redwood High school. Angie was a housekeeper then became a homemaker when she had children. She was always around children and helped taking care of her younger siblings, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening like her mother and preferred the out doors . She loved baking as her pineapple cakes and persimmon cookies will be missed. If someone was ill she would take them homemade chicken noodle soup. Mom always prayed for her kids, grandkids and would tell us "que Los quide" after visiting her. She supported her grandkids any way she could they were her greatest loves. Her love was unconditional and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Angie is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Jennie Segura, sisters Mary Gonzales, Josie Lasalde. Brother Ceferino Segura and son Frank Solorio Jr.
She is survived by brothers, Benito, Nicholas, Jess, Manuel, John, Robert and Eddie Segura all from Visalia, CA; her children Leonard (Martha) Solorio, Visalia CA, Marianne (Tom) Torres, Visalia CA;, her grandchildren Claudia Chavez, Fresno CA, Andrea Solorio, Long Beach, CA, Jacob Torres, Sara Flores, Michael Perez from Visalia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 4 – 6 p.m. with Rosary beginning at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1908 N. Court Street in Visalia, CA. Burial will follow at Visalia Public Cemetery.
