Amador Garcia Jr., 73 of Visalia, California, born July 21, 1945 in Redbanks, California surrounded by his family, went to be with his Lord and loving wife Lucy L. Garcia on October 25, 2018 in Visalia, California.
Amador Garcia Jr. is the son of Amador and Eloise Garcia. He married Lucy L. Garcia on October 3, 1970. He became the proud father of his two daughters Rachael and Stephanie. Amador was committed to his family, making sure they knew his love and support to achieve their highest potential. He proudly served his country in the United State Air Force during active duty in the Vietnam War. Amador was a tireless and selfless volunteer as a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 785, AMVETS Post 22, Vietnam Veterans of America, Disabled Veterans of America, United States Air Force Security Police, and Vietnam Security Police.
Amador Garcia Jr. is survived by his daughter Rachael Garcia Gervacio, son in law Johnny Gervacio; daughter Stephanie Garcia, spouse Hope Garcia; granddaughter Dawn Garcia; brother, John Garcia; sister, Gloria Gonzales; brother, Carlos Garcia Jr.; and brother, Benjamin Garcia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Miller Memorial Chapel Visalia, CA from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm with Rosary at 6:00pm. Chapel Service will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 10:00 am at Miller Memorial Chapel Visalia, CA followed by Interment at Visalia Public Cemetery District. Celebration of Life will immediately followed at the Visalia Veteran’s Memorial Building.
