Alfred was born in Morenci, AZ on June 12, 1941 to Alfredo and Rosa Madrid. He came to California as a young man where he was raised and educated, graduating from Corcoran High School in 1960. In 1995 Alfred married Angelina Hernandez and they briefly lived in Hanford before making Visalia their permanent home. Alfred worked for Perelli Armstrong Tire Company in Hanford for over 30 years, retiring in the late 90's. He was an avid LA Rams fan and LA Dodger fan. Alfred also enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and traveling. He especially enjoyed family BBQ’s and gatherings – there didn’t have to be a reason to get together.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Rosa.
Alfred leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Angelina of Visalia; one son Alfred Madrid, III of Hanford; two daughters, Renee Ramona Madrid of Lake Elsinore and Tisha DeBem of Hanford; 2 stepdaughters; 7 stepsons; three brothers, Raymond Madrid of Corcoran, Victor Madrid of Corcoran and Arthur Madrid of Denair; two sisters Lupe Esqueda of Visalia and Edna Morales of Exeter; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 3 – 6 pm with Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. Burial will follow at Visalia Public Cemetery.
