Violeta Abalos was born on March 13, 1938 in Boot, Tanauan Batangas Philippines to the late Aurelio Burgos Tesoro and the late Maria Dinglasan Tesoro. She was a sibling of 9 including late Benjamin Tesoro, Cesar Tesoro, late Corazón Caringal, Atty. Fe Tesoro, Luther Tesoro, Greta Tesoro, Michael Tesoro and Alexis Cornista.
She graduated from Our Lady of Fatima High School in Tanauan Batangas, Philippines. She then went on to earn her college degree from La Consolacion College in Manila, Philippines.
She began her life as a school teacher, where she was known and was well respected as an educator in the community. Her hobby was playing the piano and loved cooking and baking. She met her husband Ernesto Abalos and had 2 children, Ruby and Noel. She migrated to the United States in 1993, where she continued working and building a life for her and her family until her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Ernesto Abalos; daughter Ruby Dalusong and her husband Dalvie; grandchildren Lyra, David, Daniel and Ruthlyn; Son Noel Abalos and his wife Joy; grandchildren Bianca, Ira, Briana and Zian residing in the Philippines.
Please join us to celebrate her life with family and close friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, on September 18, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, at 11:00 AM, on September 19, 2023. Her final resting place will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
